INGRAM, DAVID C, Companies K & C, private, enlisted for 3 years by Lieutenant Helmer in Grand Junction, TN on 1/1/63 at age 19 (born 3/8/45).  He was 5’7” tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, black hair, a farmer, born in Henderson Co, TN.  Presumed captured with the regiment at Union City, TN on 3/24/64, Ingram spent time in Andersonville Prison in Georgia.  He was exchanged through Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC on 12/14/64. His muster was complete at this time but he remained in the hospital at Paducah, KY in February 1865.  Ingram died on 8/4/70 and is buried in the Union Church Cemetery in Henderson Co, TN.  He was the son of David and Hannah Ervin Ingram.  There was a minor’s pension filed in Illinois in 1900 with Louisa Crews as guardian.  MR #907

INGRAM, DOTSON (R), Co H, private, enlisted in Lexington, TN on 9/24/62 and mustered at Trenton, TN on 9/28/62 at about 18 years old.  Ingram was captured and paroled at the battle of Trenton, TN but went AWOL immediately.  The muster rolls have no discharge date.  He was in Newbern, Dyer Co, TN soon after the war.  He died in 1934 and is buried in Church Grove Cemetery in Dyer Co, TN.  Ingram appears to be the son of Larkin and Mary Ann Irvin Ingram and brother to Parker Ingram of Co A.  MR #908

INGRAM, (HENRY) PARKER, Co A, private, enlisted in Jackson, TN on 8/8/62 and mustered on 8/18/62 at age 17/20 (born 1/32/44).  He furnished his own horse and equipment and was due a $100 bounty for enlistment.  Ingram deserted on 4/11/63 but returned in time to be captured with the regiment at Union City, TN on 3/24/64 and taken to Andersonville Prison in Georgia.  He was exchanged through Charleston, SC on 12/16/64 and was back on the muster rolls for March and April 1865.  He was discharged with the regiment when it disbanded at Nashville, TN on 8/9/65.  Ingram applied for an invalid pension in 1885.  He died on 11/27/1911 and is buried in the McCall/Bethlehem Cemetery in Henderson Co, TN.  His wife, Almedia Myracle Ingram, applied for a widow’s pension in December 1911.  Ingram appears to be the son of Larkin and Mary Ann Irvin Ingram and brother to Dotson R Ingram of Co H.  MR #909

IVEY (IVY), HENRY N, Co B, private/corporal, enlisted for 3 years in Columbus, KY by Lieutenant Hix on 7/4/64 and mustered on 7/27/64 at age 23.  He was 5’7” tall, fair complexion, black eyes, dark hair, a farmer, born in Rutherford Co, TN.  In July and August 1864 he was a hospital nurse.  Ivey was discharged with the regiment when it disbanded at Nashville, TN on 8/9/65.  He might be the Henry Ivy who married Irene Anderson in Marshall Co, KY in 1865.  MR #912

IVEY (IVY), JOSEPH W, Co M, private, enlisted for 3 years at Montezuma, TN on 9/1/63 and mustered at Union City, TN on 12/31/63 at age 18.  He was 5’10” tall, dark complexion, black eyes, dark hair, a farmer. Presumed captured with the regiment at Union City, TN on 3/24/64, Ivey spent time in Andersonville Prison in Georgia.  He was exchanged through Savannah, GA on 10/19 or 11/17 in 1864 (both given) and taken to the hospital in Annapolis, MD.  He died on a train near Mound City, IL on the way to Dongala, IL on 3/13/65.  MR #913
