BROOKS, PEARSON
Does anyone know anthing about a Hiram and Sarah Smith PEARSON who lived in Madison Co. in 1840? Sometime before 1850 they moved to Monroe Co. and on the 1850 census have three children living with them: Hiram BROOKS, 16, Mary, 15, and Nancy 12. I am trying to find out the names of and what happened to the Brooks children's parents. There were no Brooks's in the Monroe 1840 census, so I feel that they must have moved there with the Pearsons. Thank you for your time.

Fri, 20 Feb 1998 15:11:36 EST
I am trying to track a John Lynch, born 1767 in LynchBurg, VA, who moved to Jackson, TN and died there in 1840. I am hoping to tie him to a Joseph Lynch, born 1790 in TN or VA (do not know which or what county), married 2nd time to Amanda HOSKINS and died ca 1838. Joseph and Amanda had a son, James Harvey Lynch, born 1830 in TN and maybe two other children, Andrew P, born 1836 and Amanda Jane, born 1837.
I have no firm info about Madison Co except for the info on John Lynch shown above which came from the Lynchburg Lib. I cannot firmly tie Joseph or James Harvey to Madison. Just taking a shot with the info about John.

Need info on Carl JENNINGS and wife, Ethel. They are listed on the 1929 Jackson City directory, living on 437 S.Liberty. They are somehow related to Mary Jane (MEDLIN) WALLACE. Mary Jane MEDLIN married Sam WALLACE after 1918. Mary Jane sold her house to Carl and Ethel JENNINGS for $1.00, prior to her death. It is possible that either Carl or Ethel JENNINGS was a child of Margret MEDLIN. Margret MEDLINS spouse is unknown. Margret MEDLIN was a sister to Mary Jane MEDLIN. Any bit of info would be helpful.
