Found in 1962 but not found in 1999 or 2004:

Margaret Sell, 1905 – 1887 [Adam Sell m. Margaret Miller, June 18, 1822]

It is on the tract of land purchased by John Miller about 1788 and which came into the possession of his son-in-law, Adam Sell, when Catherine, the widow of John Miller died about 1844, leaving the homeplace to her daughter Margaret and son-in-law Adam Sell.

John Miller, ca 1764 – ca 1822 and his wife Catherine Bowman, were married June 8, 1789, Rockingham County, Va. (Caty Boughman). She was the dau. of Jacob and Susannah Milhous Bowman. After the death of Jacob, Susannah, who was called ‘Granny Milhous,’ married Rev. Isaac Hammer. Margaret Miller, and her husband, Adam Sell, called ‘the German’ and reportedly from Hanover County, Penn. Lived with her mother, Catherine, after the death of her father.

There is no formal marker for John and Catherine Bowman Miller; however, descendants have been told that they are buried here along with some of their twelve children. The only marked graves of their children are those of Margaret Miller Sell and Catherine Miller Young.
