NOTE – CMB: by Bedford Co, VA Wills, Dated June 16, 1777, Henry Taylor (Tayler) mentions the “land whereon we Christopher and I now lives” — so he may have been buried in this cemetery. He names his wife Sarah, sons Christopher, Skelton, William and John, and daus. Lannah (Zannah, Sannah ?), Sarah, Sherlot, Rachel Richason, Elizabeth Richason and Cloy Rundfro.

Christopher Taylor m. Mary Edwards; Sarah Cantrell’s will of Nov 4, 1783, Bedford Co. VA, makes it evident that Mary was dau. by her first marriage to an Edwards.

Hannah was the dau. of Christopher’s son Henry, who m. Delilah Demoss. Henry d. ca 1856; Delilah, b. Sept 3, 1776, d. June 16, 1869. It is possible that they are buried in this plot since both his father and their daughter are here. Hannah seems to have had at least two children by Cyrus Broles: Abraham T. b Nov 1, 1839 and Samuel N. b July 22, 1841, as they are mentioned in the Bible of Jacob Miller, Sr. In his will, Henry mentions his wife Delilah and “my four children” – sons, Abraham and Skelton, and daus, Polly Barkley and Hannah Miller.
