“HUFFINE – 4 miles South of Johnson City on the John Leach estate. Established before the Civil War by Daniel Huffine. Negro slaves are buried here as well as members of the Huffine family”

DEEDS – Deed Book 113, Page 538 (1903) – Daniel Huffine to John C. Leach – parcel of 56 acres. The burial ground lays almost in the center.
