The earliest inscription is 1863. The cemetery was abandoned in the early 1920’s. According to the Washington County Cemetery List, a road was planned through that location and about 25 to 35 graves were removed and placed in other cemeteries over the county. Copied by Mary Hardin McCown and by Robert McGinnis, in January 1976. Belle Lyle Tilden supplied the notes.
