Frederick DeVault was the son of Henrich (Rev. War Soldier) and Catherine Graver of York County, PA. He and brother Valentine were will land in Washington County Tennessee which had been bought from Jacob Been/Bean. Brother Gabriel and Henry received land in Sullivan County, Tennessee.

Margaret Range married 23 August 1803 in Washington County, Tennessee to Frederick DeVault.
