- I have a copy of a deed conveying property from W.B. Lee to
W.H. Duncan. It indicates that it is located in Putname County,
Civil District 17. It mentions waters of Cave Hollow of Indian
Creek of Gainey Fork. It also mentions Huckle Berry ridge. I
can find Indian Creek on a map. Would appreciate anyone who
could help me find the other features so that I could locate

John and William. They later had three more children, Dee Witt,

GRIMES
- Looking for information on William Henry Harrison GRIMES,
born 06/21/1841; died 10/18/1912. Served in the CSA 8th Reg. TN
Inf., Co. C. Lived in, and buried in Cookeville. His daughter,
Mary Elizabeth GRIMES married Miles Ancie White. Any info would
be greatly appreciated.

CARR
- Seeking info.on my grandfather Andrew Frank Carr born in
Putnam Co. around the Silverpoint area in 1878. With his bro.
Stephen Solan he moved to Texas around 1900. He and Solan are
buried in Plesant Grove Cem. in Collin co. Tex. Need info on
parents and rest of family.Frank married Ollie B. Anderson in
1905 at Breasher Hunt Co.Tex.

SELLS
- I am inquiring about any information on SELLS families,who
lived in Putnam Co. in 1885 to 1920 and might have had a
daughter named Myrtle Salina SELLS.She may have had a younger
sister born later named Edna SELLS,who married Alfred
Arbuckle,and moved to Trinidad, Texas.The Mother or Grandmother
(Unknown first name) SELLS was in Texas in a nursing home,in
1962,and was 99 years old.Myrtle Salina SELLS was my
grandmother and was married to Ed RANDOLPH. She died at 18 in
the big flu epdemic of 1917-1918.Her sons were Thurman and
Herman RANDOLPH.Any information would be helpful.I beleive they
came from Overton Co. into Putnam Co. Thank You!
