ANDERSON, ELMORE, FERGUSON, MYERS, GARRISON lines, am interested.
Abner James Monroe "AJM" ANDERSON came to Carroll County, AR, from
near Cookeville. His father, some brothers stayed behind, fought
there as Confederate soldiers. One was Archibald Tyler ANDERSON.
Would like to know what company he and brother(s) were with. Also
looking for info on other surnames above. AJM Anderson's son Peter
ANDERSON md. Ella FERGUSON, have been told she was daughter of a
J. FERGUSON who md. a Dru__? ELMORE. Ella died young and I am
having great difficulty finding any information on the
ELMORE/FERGUSON connections. Help there would be much appreciated.
Others coming to this area from there, perhaps leaving family
behind included MYERS, MAY, GARRISON ancestors. Would like to
share info on any of above. I note a cemetery listed as PETER
ANDERSON cemetery, on "Crescent Drive on the Lineus Bullington
place". Possibly this would be Abner's father, Peter, or I think
he has a brother by same name. Any info on this or other Anderson
burials, cemeteries, appreciated. AJM Anderson was born 1825. Ella
FERGUSON ANDERSON was born 1865, d. 1892.
