JOSEPH M. BARLOW FAMILY by Rosa Lee Russell.
Joseph M. Barlow married Ann Tipton, February 3, 1870 in Washington County. They are buried in the Barlow Cemetery (off Hairtown Raod), Jonesborough. They became the parents of eight children: Warren, Charlie, James (1882-1963), William Hammer Nesbert “Nez” (1886-1963), Alice, Cordie (lived in the Barlow home – not sure of her relationship), and twins Martin C. (1890- 1926) and Joseph Harrison (1890-1969). Joseph’s sister Amanda married Thomas Lilly in 1869 and had a son Joseph E. Lilly (1869-1938).
Martin C. the twin of Joseph was only thirty-five years old when he died. He married Ann Hashbarger in 1919. They had three children: Edith (1820-1986), Frank (1922), and Alice Fern (1823-1926). Martin was buried in the Barlow Cemetery.
