Mrs. Akeman, 77, Buried Yesterday

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Akeman, widow of John W. Akeman, died at Riverview Rest Home Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock at Smyrna Church of Christ.  Rev. Emmett and Silas F. Shaw officiated and burial was in Smyrna cemetery. A native of Warren County, Mrs. Akeman was a daughter of John P. Jaco. Her husband died August 14, 1952. Mrs. Akeman was a member of the Campaign Church of God. She is survived by a step-son, Jim Cruise, Detroit, Mich., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Beecher Hudson, McMinnville. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
