Mrs. Akeman, 77, Buried Yesterday Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Akeman, widow of John W. Akeman, died at Riverview Rest Home Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock at Smyrna Church of Christ.  Rev. Emmett and Silas F. Shaw officiated and burial was in Smyrna cemetery. A native of Warren County, Mrs. Akeman was a daughter of John P. Jaco. Her husband died August 14, 1952. J. W. Akeman, 80, Dies Of Illness John Walton Akeman, 80-year-old retired farmer and well known Warren county citizen, died at his home at Smyrna Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock following an illness of two months.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Smyrna Church of Christ with the minister, Silas F.
