Deed history –
In 1891, M. C. Ledford conveyed to Henry G. Conner (Deed Book 63, Page 198) a small parcel.  In 1899, Joseph Hammett conveyed to Daniel Conner (Deed Book 77, Page 126) an adjacent small parcel.  Total area was about 2 acres.  Henry G. and [David] Daniel were brothers, and also sons of Edmund “Ned” and Lucinda Conner.
In 1912, Eva Conner and husband, Charles, conveyed their interest to Daniel Conner (Deed Book 117, Page 38) and his wife, Elizabeth “Lizzie/Lisabel” Cole Rash Conner.  Lizzie had previously been married to Hiram Rash.  Their issue showed up as “Conners” in some census records, however, as Rashes in some future deeds.  It is unknown whether they were adopted or not.  It is within this deed that the burial ground is first mentioned, and located on the parcel previously owned by Henry G. Conner.
The next conveyance (Deed Book 211, Page 248) took place in 1941.  Lizzie, now Mitchell, along with other heirs conveyed to Herbert A. Maden, the entire couple acres.  That deed also excepted the non-surveyed burial ground.  No future deeds have been found to mention this burial ground, either.
Burials –
It is unconfirmed whom might be buried at this location.  A death certificate was found for Daniel (07/12/1917) with a burial location of “15th district R.F.D”.  Others may include Henry G. Conner (died circa 1904), Powell (1909-1909) and Infant (1914-1914), children of Eva and Charlie Conner.  Also, Daniel (1890-1896) and Lucinda (1882-1896), children of Henry G and Mary Branch Conner.
The area might indicate no more than a half dozen graves, if that.  No conclusive depressions found, however slight leveling of a 15’ X 15’ patch is apparent.  Daffodils clearly visible, but not in manner to indicate a row of graves.
Several other members of this family have been located at Buffalo Ridge Cemetery.
