Carr of Macon. Data from his tombstone: 22 April 1895-7 Nov 1918,
Private Co A, 11th Inf AEF. He was killed in the Argonne Forest,
France. He is buried in the Hartsville Cemetery, Trousdale Co
Tennessee. His whole name was Robert Elisha Carr. His military record
has him as only Elisha Carr. He was my mother's eldest brother.
