Joe Emmett Beard Buried In Overton

Funeral services for Joe Emmett Beard, retired farmer, were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the chapel of High Funeral Home with H. Curtis Erwin, Minister of Magness Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Burial took place at Allen cemetery in Overton county. Mr. Beard died at his home at Tanyard Springs March 16, following a brief illness. He was 70. A native of Warren county, Mr. Beard was born April 25, 1882. He was married 59 years ago to Miss Rose Gore, who survives and he was a member of the Baptist church. Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Moses and Hubert Beard, McMinnville, and William and Raymond Beard, Painesville, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Cap Harper, Painesville, Ohio: Mrs. James Pack and Mrs. Manson Pack, McMinnville and Mrs. Wiley Devasier, Ohio. Arrangements were by High.
