Joe Emmett Beard Buried In Overton Funeral services for Joe Emmett Beard, retired farmer, were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the chapel of High Funeral Home with H. Curtis Erwin, Minister of Magness Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Burial took place at Allen cemetery in Overton county. DeKalb Citizen’s Rites Thursday  Funeral services for H.L. Barnes, age 10, were conducted at the residence on Nashville highway, near Smithville, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. John W.
