Manchester resident and Warren County native Alda Hobbs Arnold, 86, died May 22 at Coffee Medical Center. The former owner/operator of Greyhound Bus Station in Manchester and a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Maude Nunley Hobbs, and was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Arnold, in 1991. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Smith of Tullahoma and Linda McAfee of Decherd; one son, Ray Arnold of Manchester, and one sister, Wilma Hobbs Sullivan of McMinnville; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Manchester Funeral Home with David Costello officiating.  Burial will follow at Hebron Church of Christ Cemetery in Irving College.  Manchester Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
