Stophel Cemetery (South Holston Dam)
STOPHEL CEMETERY is located on the road at the top of the South Holston Dam. It is very well maintained by the TVA. There are many graves with fieldstones and some unmarked graves. All annotations are the work of S. Kathryn Bowling McKown.

Barbara Stophel was also the 2nd wife of Robert Buckles, son of Samuel Henry and Elizabeth Nave Buckles.
I discovered another STOPHEL CEMETERY and visited it last year. Although I did not find a marker for my 2nd GGF, I believe he is in it. His wife was a Roberts and I found other Roberts there. I had forgotten about my post here.
