Searching for information on the ancestry of Thomas L
Jones. I believe his mother was Elizabeth Hodges Jones. His
father's name is unknown. His father was reported killed during
the Civil War. His mother was remarried to a William Miller. They
moved west from NC into present day Clay County, TN. I recall
seeing a census where there were Jones children as well as Miller
children listed in the same family, but cannot find it again, nor
remember where I saw it. Is anyone familiar with this family?
