BAILEY / HART I heard there were lots of BAILEY's in
Clay County. My greatgrandmother, Jane BAILEY HART was born in
Nashville (French Lick) Davidson Co.,TN 7 Dec. 1874. According to
U S Census records her dad was born in Tennesse and her mother in
Kentucky. Jane married John HART (from Illinois) at an unknown
location in 1861. Their first children, Rosa, William, and Alice
were born in Missouri. The family moved to Sedan, Howard /
Chautauqua County, Kansas and bought a farm in 1871. Their two
youngest children, Sarah (Sadie) and John Jr. were born there.
According to my grandmother, the BAILEY's were French. Jane's dad
may have been Jon BAILEY. Does anyone have tie to this BAILEY
family????

BARGER was born in Tn. ABT of 1801. Nancy was born in Tn. ABT of
1815. I don't know where either Allen and Nancy were born. In

issued to Allen BARGER. I now have a deed for this property out of
Morgan Co. Tn. for the 100 acres signed by Governor William

Bledsoe Co. Tn. beforing moving to Ripley Co. Missouri in the
1830's. I am interested in who Allen and Nancy's parents are; were
there any siblings? When was Allen BARGER and Nancy BULLOCK

in Red Boiling Springs, I think, in 1877. I was informed that she
died in Celina c. 1949 but when I sent for a death certificate,
Tennessee Vital Statistics said they couldn't find one. Her
parents are Samuel C. and Annie J. LIKENS. I think Samuel was born
in 1842 and Annie in 1848 in Tennessee. They had children William
b. 1868, Sarah E. b. 1870, Andrew J. b. 1872, Rozellah b. 1874,
and Ben F. b. 1878. Perry Lou married William Hicks CROSS in
Tennessee. William was born in Clay County, 3 January 1881.
William's parents were David and Elizabeth (NEWMAN) CROSS. I

Perry in Clay County on 9 September 1911 but they later moved to

I am looking for Virgil RICH. He was born in 1896 to
Elisha T. RICH and Mary Ann(Molly) BROWN in Clay Co Tn. He died in
1975 in Gamiel, Monroe Co Ky. Does anyone have any info on what
happened to him in the meantime? I can't find any marriage records
or anything. My grandfathers name is Virgil RICH and had children
born in Columbus Ohio. He could very easily moved back to Ky
though.
