His father was James R (K?) HUGHES b. circa 1820, Again, death
cert of my ggrandfather says his mother's name was Nettie
PENNINGTON...however in 1860 which was 4 years after he was born
in AR....the "woman of the house was listed as Elizabeth. Is this
Nettie...had she died...or divorced???. I found a James HUGHES in
the 1850 Hawkins County census whose wife's name was Elizabeth and
they had a son who was 2 years old named John...they did have a

I am searching for information on my great
grandmother's family. Dora Pearl GREEN b. 7 Aug 1895 in Tennessee.
Parents were William GREEN and Etna (Etta?) Ann Nelson. She is
buried by them in Red Boiling Springs, Macon, TN. Have info on her
brothers and sisters but unable to trace parents. Was told that
her father had been married previously and she had four half
brothers. She married William Riley ODLE 1901 in Clay County.
Married twice after that in either Clay or in Monroe County, KY to
BOONE and WILLIAMS. Searching for info on these two husbands
also.
