     Know all men by these presents that I Lamuel P. Montgomery am held and firmly bound unto George Baumgarner in the penal sum of Twelve hundred dollars which payment well and truly be made unto the said George his heirs etc. I bind myself firmly by these presents witness my hand and seal 14 July 1812.

     The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Lamuel P. Montgomery do cause to be made unto the said George a good and Lawfull Deed in per simple to the following tract of Land Beginning where Sampson Davids line Intersects the Town of Jacksborough thence with said line so as to Include seventy five acres between the Town of Jacksborough - Davids line - and Wilhyhtes - Beginning then on Wilhyhts Corner nearest the Town aforesaid thence along Wilhtts line to where it Intersects the five thousand acre Tract thence along said line to where it will strike a line to begin within five poles of ___ of the main Street of the Town aforesaid thence parallel with the road to the five thousand acre Tract thence along said line of said Town to the Extreamity thereof thence of Wilhyts Corner then the above obligation to be void and of no effect otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

      N. B. It is understood that if there is not Two hundred acres in the above Tract that said Baumgarner is to be paid the rate of four dollars for all such defect and if there is more than Two hundred then it is to be ___ off of said Tract parallel to the main road leading fore Jacksborough tip __ _ally
