      Know all men by these presents that we Richard Linville Benjamin Bratcher Henry McCenney George Grimes Samuel Curtis and Elisha Chambers are held and firmly bound unto Willie Blount Governor his Successors in Office in the sum of Five thousand Dollars which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves ___ of our heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 4th Day of Decemr. in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Ten.

     The condition of the above Obligation is such that here as the above bounden Richard Linville hath been duly appointed Sheriff of the County of Campbell in the State of Tennessee now if he shall well and truly Collect and pay into the publick Trea- surry and County Trustees hands all the State and County Taxes that is or may become due during the time for which he is appointed Sheriff for the County of Campbell aforesaid then the above Obligation to be void Otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue.
