      Be it remembered that I Samuel Baker Coroner of the County of Campbell and state of Tennessee have by virtue of an Execution Issued from the County Court of Campbell at the June Sessions 1812 against Richard Linville Sheriff of said County and Hugh Montgomery for One hundred and forty Dollars and Twenty three Cents and one half with Interest from the date of the Execution of the Judgement with all costs in favour of Sampson David, and I by virtue of my office of Coroner of the County of Campbell and the aforesaid Execution did serve and take into Custody one negrow woman by the name of Winney and her Child by the name of Fanney four Cows and Calves, four feather beds and Two Oxen red and white about six years old One bay mare and cause them to be set up at publick sale to the highest bidder and Lamuel P. Montgomery being the last and highest bid for the Girl and Child fifty Dollars for the four Cows and Calves Thirty Dollars for the Two Oxen Twenty Dollars, for the mare ___ three Dollars and Seventy five Cents and for the four feather beds ___ furniture Thirty Dollars which several sums of money _____ me in hand paid the amt. whereof is hereby acknowledged _____ the signing and sealing these presents I Samuel Baker _____ fore Coroner as aforesaid do transfer sell alien and ___ ____ the said Lamuel P. Montgomery his heirs and assigns forever for the Consideration aforesaid all the right Claim and de- mand of Hugh Montgomery of in and to the aforesaid desired property In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 11th July 1812
