     Know all men by these presents that I John Brown of the State of Tennessee and Town of Knoxville have this day appointed Joseph Hart of the said State and Town of Jacksborough my true and Lawfull attourney to sell and Convey the following Tracts of Land, one Tract of Two hundred acres part of a Three hundred acre tract whereon Evan Wallen now lives, also one other Tract of Two hun- dred and thirteen and one third acres Joining the above

Tract, also to Transfer a platt of survey for forty acres whereon Jonathan Blye lives which I have sold to him and is to be Conveyed if he pays the money Otherwise he for- fiets his Contract, also a Twenty acre plat where David Lawson now lives which I am to Convey on the same Conditions of the above also one Other Tract of one hundred and thirteen acres whereon the Sheltons now lives on the same conditions of the Two last mentioned Tracts, also to assue and demand any money due __ in this County given etc. in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand etc.
