This is a photo of an old tintype we found in our Great Aunt's belongings. We think it is of Hezekiah Forrest, born March 6, 1816, in Benton County, Tennessee; died December 28, 1896, in Howell County, Missouri. Hezekiah, son of James Forrest, (who died in Benton County, Tennessee in 1866) was a Baptist minister and a founding member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

He was married to Martha Elender Utley, born March 6, 1920, in Benton County, TN, and died September 30, 1883, in Howell County, Missouri. Martha was the daughter of Abel Utley.

Hezekiah and Martha are buried in their family cemetery, Blue Mound Cemetery, which is located about 6 miles west of West Plains, Missouri.

This is perfect example of someone not identifying pictures. This picture was in my Grandmother Andrews belongings I found after my mother passed away in 1978. I am one of oldest left in family and do not know who this gentleman is. My Andrews GGrandfather came to LA. in 1900 from Georgia and this picture is dated 1893 Jackson, GA.

Colonel Nowell, Bertha Oxford, and unidentified friends. They are obviously at a special school or church function. Bertha is on the front right corner when you are looking at the picture and Colonel is the only boy, standing on her right. Maybe someone can identify the others for us. I think the pretty young lady on the top left may be a Nowell or Oxford. I have seen her pictures in my dad's cousin collection but she has lost most of her site and was unable to identify the person.

This picture was in my Aunt Alma Brinkley's possessions when she died. There wasn 't any names on them. They are on postcards and I believe they were made in Luna Hawley Caraway's studio in Big Sandy because it is the same background as some other pictures that was made there. I hope someone can identify them.
