DAVIS, Eunice Eatie, born 1897, Beech Creek Community, Wayne County, Tennessee and died 1974. He was the son of Joseph Allen and Mitalda Jane RAY DAVIS. Eatie enlisted in the U.S. Army in June of 1918, the year World War I ended. He did not engage in fighting in this war due to the war ending. He had a foot injury and came out of the service until he recovered on 20 Feb 1920. He then reenlisted in the Navy until he retired in 1937. He was recalled in 1940 and served during World War II, retiring again in 1943. He made his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He married Josephine PICKETT. They have one daughter Carolyn DAVIS SEITZ (she had two children: Thomas Shayne SEITZ and Gregory Keith SEITZ) and one son, Steven E. DAVIS who married Michele EDWARDS (they have three children: Chelsea Jane, Andrew and Marigrace.)
