Morrison resident and Warren County native Welthan May Bell, 83, died Jan. 2 at River Park Hospital. A homemaker and a member of Morrison First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of William and Lora Hendrix Parker and was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Leslie Bell in 1996; and one son, James Leslie (Buck) Bell. She is survived by three sons, William Bell of Morrison, Ronald Douglas Bell of McMinnville and David Bell of Chattanooga; five daughters, Willie Hittle and Martha Lafevers, both of Springfield, Mary Fuson of Antioch, Betty Pack of McMinnville and Barbara Freeze of Morrison; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at High’s Chapel with Bill Hall officiating. Burial followed at Bascom Cemetery. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
