Bennett Child’s Rites Tuesday

Brenda Nell Bennett, 9-months-old daughter of Finis Bennett and Donnett Kilgore Bennett, died unexpectedly while the parents were visiting relatives in Monterey Sunday.  The death occurred at 6:15 p.m. Prayer services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the parlors of High Funeral Home. John W. High officiated and burial was in New Union cemetery. The child was born August 20, 1952. The parents are residents of the Mt. Leo section of McMinnville. Survivors in addition to the parents, are three brothers, Billy Joe Bennett, Charles Edward Bennett and Howard Bennett,and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kilgore, Chattanooga. Arrangements were by High’s.
