For years people have wondered who Ollie was. New documents have come to light that suggest that Ollie was possibly a Wassum (not proven.)

Ollie Ellen WASSUM, wife of Martin Booher, Jr., was a daughter of Nicholas Wassum and Eve Elizabeth DeLong. Ollie’s and Martin’s grandson Noah C. Booher married 17 Dec 1868 in Smyth Co., VA to Elizabeth Catherine Wassum, d/o John W. Wassum and Mary D. (Polly) Groseclose. Noah C. Booher was the son of Louis(z)a Booher, d/o of Ollie and Martin Booher, Jr. Since Ollie and John Wassum were brother and sister, Noah and Elizabeth Catherine were second cousins.

    Information.
    The only way to do.

  2. Hi! I was wondering if you still keep this site up to date. I have questions regarding Louisa Booher. You state her husband was William Booher. Later, you write that she was the daughter of Ollie and Martin Booher Jr. Did Louisa Booher marry another Booher? I have not been able to find anything regarding her husband. The only other William Booher I have found is the son of Peter and Magdaline Booher (1850 census). Thank you!
