Cloud Cemetery (Eastley Road) — 6 Comments

  1. I would like to find out who is buried beside my grand-father in the unmarked grave. His name is Clyde D. Lucas. Over to the right of his grave is the unmarked grave. It has a stone, but no name. Do you know the owner of the grave yard and their contact information or someone who may have records?

    • No, I’m not sure who might have information on this cemetery. It looks like the last burial was in the 1990’s, so it’s not really an active cemetery anymore. These smaller cemeteries tend to not have records.

      • The cemebery is maintained by Clouds Bend Methodist Church. The church contracts to have the cemetery mowed. The last burial was 2015.

    • The cemetery belongs to Clouds Bend Methodist Church. The church is on Ridgefield’s Road. There is a person who oversees the cemetery for the church members. I don’t know her name. There is no one at the church except when services are held.

  2. The Cemetery is on Eastley Road, not Easley Court. Eastley Road runs west from Ridgefields Road, two streets up from the bridge over the south fork of the Holston River. Eastley Court runs east from Ridgefield Road.

  3. The list contains the name BEN. [No birth] and no [death date.] Ben is Ben Richard Cloud. Veteran of the Spanish-American War. Born 1887. Died 1939. Copied from Findagrave. Ben R.
