  1. I think it so sad that no one took care of these very old cemeteries…they are so interesting and special…i am of the Burrell Lawson line and i am searching every cemetery to try and find their graves, but having no luck. I look at these old places and it breaks my heart. I live in Okla now and if find an old cemetery i am going to try and restore it, God bless you all for your hard work….Luwayina Lawson

    • Thank you, Luwayina. It is very sad when cemeteries are neglected, and usually it’s through no one’s fault. Families move away or simply lose track to pass on to future generations. We are hopeful that by sharing all this information online, we will reach those who are interested in historic preservation. We are always hopeful that more folks will come forward and do what work they can, or at least help spread the word. Thank you for your dedication!

  2. Do you know if there is an earlier survey of this cemetery?? Sanford Bridwell’s first wife was Mary Titsworth. Also wondered if Francis Hawleys wife Sarah is buried here
