Loyal Edkar Tidwell was born on May 20, 1945 and passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 74.

Loyal is preceded in death by his parents, Dorris Pendergrass and Jimmy Winfred Tidwell; his sisters, Faye Heins, Gracie May Cannon, Shirley Lampley, Ethel Tidwell, and Alvie Tidwell; and his brother, Leon Tidwell. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Glenda Tidwell; daughters, Tina Tidwell (Robert Harper) and Lisa Tidwell (John Tyler); sister, Betty Slaughter; and brothers, Elvis Tidwell and Arnold Tidwell, as well as six grandchildren including Kelly and Micha.
