McCaleb, Sheila Kay
Sheila spent most of her life in Hickman County, Tennessee, where she built a life centered on hard work and family. She was employed as a machine operator at the Levi plant in Centerville for many years. After the plant’s closure and the birth of her son, she devoted herself to being a homemaker. In her later years, she worked in the cafeteria of the local school system, where she was known for her kindness and warm spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ray McCaleb; her son, Derek McCaleb; her sisters, Fay (Tony) Sanders and Joy (Jasper) Rochelle; her brothers, Ray (Nikita) Ragsdale and Donny (Debbie) Ragsdale; and her cherished grandchildren, Emerlee and Weston McCaleb.
Above all else, Sheila’s greatest joy in life was her family. She especially treasured her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and delighted in—often spoiling them whenever she could. Her love, strength, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
