Green, Wilma Dean
Wilma was the daughter of the late Lester Hickman Sr. and Mary Pearl Barnhill Hickman. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Green; her daughters, Wanda King and Jackie Breece; her sisters, Linda Warf and Helen Pinkerton; and her brother, Lester Hickman Jr.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly, including her son, Gary (Shelia) Green of Tennessee; her daughter, Barbara (Curtis) Edwards of Tennessee; and her brother, James (Vivian) Hickman of Pennsylvania. She was a proud grandmother to Danielle (Sean) Mumford, Kasey (Louis Qualls) King, Chris (Tammy) King and Nick (Katie) Edwards, and a loving great-grandmother to Savannah (Neal) Shaffer, Harley Shaw, Addy Neeley, Lottie Edwards, and Grant Edwards.
Wilma devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Hickman Community Hospital, where her compassion and kindness touched countless lives.
She had a joyful and lively spirit that could light up any room. She loved to sing and dance wherever she was—even riding down the road—and those moments brought smiles to everyone around her. She found peace and happiness in her garden, caring for her flowers, and took great pride in her quilting and sewing. Above all, she cherished time spent in her kitchen, preparing meals that brought her family together and made them feel loved.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
