Bobby Wayne Green, age 60, passed away on April 15, 2026. He was born on July 14, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee, to David Edward Green and Shirley Ann Fuller Green.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, David Green.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Tammy Allen Green; his mother, Shirley Green; his sons, Nick (Lindsey) Green and Nathan (Emily) Green; his sisters, Teresa Green Pitts, Tammy (Keith) Russell, and Renee (Joey) Turman; his brother, Ricky Green; and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, James, David, Brady, Elsie, and Kaiden.
Bobby Green, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He shared 39 beautiful years of marriage with his soulmate and beloved wife, building a life rooted in love, faith, and unwavering commitment. Together, they created a family that was the center of his world.
He was a dedicated and caring father who poured his heart into raising his children, guiding them through life and coaching them on the field in every sport they played. His encouragement, patience, and pride left a lasting impact on their lives.
Bobby’s greatest joy came from his six grandchildren, who were truly the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in watching them grow.
A man of deep and abiding faith, Bobby served as a deacon at Liberty Hill Church of Christ and loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. His life reflected his beliefs—kind, humble, and always willing to serve others.
Bobby also had a deep love for his community. He dedicated countless hours volunteering in recreation sports, mentoring and supporting young athletes. A lifelong Yellow Jacket, he found great joy in cheering on his local high school teams and rarely missed a game.
He will be remembered for his strong faith, generous spirit, and the unconditional love he shared so freely with family and friends. Bobby leaves behind a legacy of devotion, service, and love that will live on in all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation with the family will be 19 April 2026 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM and 20 April 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Liberty Hill Church of Christ, 7272 Old Cox Pike, Fairview, TN. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Jane Jones Cemetery, Fairview, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Hill Church of Christ Building Fund.
