Driggers, Michael D
Michael Don-El Driggers was born on January 31, 1950, and passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 76.
He was the son of the late Eugene Cornelius Driggers Sr. and Ruby Lois Keene Driggers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Driggers II and Buddy Driggers, and his sister, Bobbie Barstow.
Don-El is survived by his devoted wife, Nickie Driggers, who was his partner in life and love. He leaves behind his son, Michael Shane Driggers (Melissa), and his daughter, Jenyfer Danyal Driggers, who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Victoria Renea Driggers, Brooklyn Cheyenne Driggers, Jacob Michael Driggers, Kai Gillespie Green, and Kavi Ryan Green, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl McClain, along with many other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Don-El was a man who truly appreciated life’s simple blessings. He found peace in the woods, joy in riding his golf cart, and adventure out on the water kayaking. He had a special fondness for caring for his chickens, and some of his happiest moments were spent at home, surrounded by the things he loved most. Above all, Don-El treasured time with his family those quiet, meaningful moments that became lasting memories.
He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the way he lived life at his own pace, finding happiness in the little things. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will be cherished forever.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
