Clayton, Barbara Ann
Barbara Ann Clayton, age 76 of Hohenwald, passed away at the Maury Regional Medical Center on Monday morning, October 12. She was born in Hohenwald on April 2, 1944, to the late Thomas “Bug” Turnbow Jr. and Beulah (Staggs) Turnbow.
She worked as a home health CNA for many years prior to her retirement. She was also a member of the Springer Church of Christ. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved all of them immensely but especially her grandchildren, who in return loved her just as much.
She is survived by sons, Tommy (Sandra) Clayton, Johnny (Kim) Clayton & Brian (Michelle) Talley, sisters, Lea (Ronnie) Graves & Glenda (Randy) Harris, 5 grandchildren, Mallory (Rodney) McDonald, Whitley (Ben) Floyd, Lucas (Reagan) Clayton, Alex Clayton & Beau (Brooke) Clayton and 8 great-grandchildren, Phenix, Kanon, Sutton, Henry, Jack, Isaac, Branlee & Pace.She is preceded in death by her parents, along with her husband, Jerry Clayton, brother, Kenneth Turnbow, sister, Patsy Turnbow, and great-grandchild, Emmerson McDonald.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening at the McDonald Funeral Home, Hohenwald from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Springer Church of Christ Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
