Sammy Allen Chumley was born on August 11, 1950, and passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 75.

Mr. Chumley is the son of the late Eugene and Mary Hill Chumley. He is also preceded in death by his brother Austin Chumley, and sister Judy Chumley.

Mr. Chumley is survived by his wife Connie Chumley, daughter Sonia Word, daughter Trena Ransco, son Christopher Chumley, daughter Amanda (Rosie) Tidwell, grandchildren Shane Flippen, Marissa Kelton, Kristen Curll, Chloe Gray, Cooper Ransco, Monica Chumley, Dustin Chumley, Abbigail Chumley, Ally Chumley, Bailey Tidwell, and Kolby Tate, great grandchildren Kieran Tate, Mila Kelton, Malekhi Majors, Emerald Henning, and Kenneth Harris.

Visitation with the family will be 15 Nov 2025 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM with Funeral services to follow at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman Co.  The family will have a private burial.
