I am looking for information about the death of Roger Gibson who was killed at the railway turntable in Wildersville, TN between 1865 and 1870. Gibson’s widow Amanda married my grandfather Richard “Dick P.” Allen in August, 1871. Any account of the circumstances of Mr. Gibson’s death or contact information for a knowledgeable local historian will be appreciated.

I would like to ask if anyone has information pertaining to Andrew Gutherie and his brother Theophylis Gutherie. Theophylis is listed in the 1836 / 1837 District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee Tax List. And, Andrew Gutherie may have owned land in Henderson County, as he lived in Madison County, Tennessee during the 1837 to 1840 time period as well.
