HomeQueryKing, Allen E

I’m in need of some help locating genealogy records in Gibson and Madison counties.  I believe I’ve accessed everything that’s online and what I’m needing is probably stored away in the archives somewhere. I’m specifically talking about the late 1700’s up to the mid 1800’s. It may also be necessary to access publications, funeral home and cemetery records as well. I highly suspect there may still be descendants of my family still living in the area and would like to make contact with them if they have the same desire.

Can you refer me to anyone in the area who would have local knowledge of records that I might  retain to help me?

My grandfather, Enoch King, was the son of Allen E. King, b. 1842 in Madison County, married Nancy Elizabeth Walker about 1865. Later married Lucinda Cash Feb 12, 1882 in Madison Co. Allen E died around 1884 I think?

Allen E. King’s father was also Allen King, b. around 1815 in TN, died 4-19-1881 on Madison Co. Married Malinda P Bratten Mar 4, 1833 in Gibson Co. The paper trail has grown extremely cold with Allen!  I’m either in error or just haven’t found the records yet.

Recent DNA testing proves I am a descendent of Thomas Murray King, circa 1795 from Strunk county, E. Tn/KY(depending on what date).

Allen E and Nancy died really young. I’m trying to find out how they died.  I know nothing about Allen and Malinda’s parents. And now I’m wanting to know how they’re tied to Thomas M King, his descendants don’t have knowledge of Allen. The relationship may very well go back further than Thomas M King.

Any help would be very much appreciated. As I said, I’m willing to compensate someone for this because I expect it’s going to take more than checking online records.
