Railroads Authorized to Abandon Branch

Washington, Sept. 29 – (AP) – The Interstate Commerce Commission today authorized the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company to abandon 24.14 miles of a branch line between Lexington and Perryville, Tenn.

The order also authorized abandonment of operation of the branch by the Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis Railway.
