Additional information:

There was a Wm. CANOLE who was buying and selling land in Blountville in the 1830s, probably a grandson of the William Canole buried here.  There was a Wm. CANOLE on the 1790 census, but he was in New York.  Also a Rachel CANOLE b. 1789, daughter of William CANOLE married Peter YOAKLEY and they lived in Sullivan County.  They’re buried at the Yoakley Cemetery. One of the Yoakley daughters married a BRANSTETTER.

Redosha CANOLE (b 1825 in Sull. Co) married James RAY and they moved to Missouri.

Rebecca WILHELM may have been the daughter of William CANOLE.  There was a Rebecca married to George WILHELM in Sullivan County who had a son named Charles, born in 1814.  He moved to Scott County, VA and is buried there in the WILHELM Cemetery.
