Description: Better known today as Rooty Branch. This cemetery was moved to make way for the lake - South Holston Lake. The majority of the graves were relocated to Rooty Branch, while some went elsewhere.

“In this section I am only dealing with the graves that were moved to the relocated Brown Cemetery or Rooty Branch Cemetery. I have divided these graves first by lot numbers and then by grave numbers. Lots are laid out with the numbers 1-3-5-7-9 being side by side and 2-4-6-8-10 side by side on the other half of the plot. Most plots contain 10 graves.
