1976 First Place winners in the Bicentennial Float

First Place winners in the Bicentennial Float for Civic Groups--Flatwoods FCE. Leo Dotson (Civil War soldier), Glenda James (suffragette wanting women to be able to vote), Dexter Webster (Clara Barton), Linda Skelton, Nell Graves (pioneer woman), Mary Tom Westbrooks (World War I soldier), Ann Laster (Sacagawea), unknown man in funky plaid suit (who presented the trophies, I think). Mary Tom Westbrooks won first place for the most original costume (because it was an original), the World War I uniform of Dr. Earl Boyce.
