William Henry Harder was born February 6, 1830 in Hickman Co. TN.  He died August 5, 1897 in Perry Co. TN. He is buried in the Harder Cemetery in Perry Co.  He served as a Captain in the Confederacy.

          1. Debra, my name is Michael Fletcher. William Harder was my gg-grandfather through George Leslie Harder. His daughter, Ora Effie, was my grandmother. Branford Collins is my uncle. I call him uncle Rip. I have copies of both the original journal (microfilm) and the transcription.
