Whereas by descent from one Woodson Daniel and also one James W. Daniel, Mary Daniel and myself Wiley J Daniel sold equally an undivided interest in a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Perry County and district no 4 bound, as follows to wit. Beginning at a Poplar and White Oak on the Sourh side of Crooked Creek—running North one hundred and 7 poles to a Chestnut and Sourwood. Hence East one hundred and fifty six poles to a Post Oak and a Red Oak. Hence South one hundred and seven poles to a stake. Hence West one hundred and fifty six poles to the beginning containing by estimation one hundred and five acres be the same more or less.

now I have bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey all of my right, title, and interest and claim to my undivided interest–being 9 shares in the Woodson Daniel claim, also in James W Daniel’s 2 shares of said land to Mary Daniel and her heirs for the sum of Fifty Five Dollars, now in hand to have and to hold the same to the said Mary Daniel her heirs and assigns forever, and I covenant and agree for myself my heirs misrepresentatives to warrant and forever defend the title to my undivided interest on said lands against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever, when, and I do here unto let my hand and affix my seal. This the 20th of June 1850 signed, sealed, and delivered in presence of us. J L Coble Wiley J Daniel D W Daniel Personally appeared before me P. Whitwell clerk of said county above James H Coble and David W Daniel subscribing witnesses to the within deed and after being duly sworn despose and say that they are personally acquainted with Wiley J Daniel the within name bargains and that he acknowledges that he executed the within deed for the purpose therein contained.
