ROSENTHAL, Abram, attorney at law; born in New York city, Sept. 27, 1886; son of Samuel and Fannie (Wolff) ROSENTHAL; educated in New York city, Albany, N. Y., and University of Tenn. at Knoxville; graduated from latter with degree of Bachelor of Laws; in senior year was winner of the prize for best thesis (Demurrer to Evidence and Peremptory Instructions in Tennessee); in early life he was a bookkeeper for New York city firms, John L. HAMILTON & Sons, builders, and W. H. BROWN & CHICHESTER, commission merchants; moved to Knoxville, Tenn., in 1908, and while studying law was secretary for W. J. OLIVER, contractor; admitted to practice law in all State and Federal courts; member of Knights of Pythias, Phi Kappa (Honor) Fraternity; became associated with Wright, Wright & Burrows, Knoxville, Tenn., in 1910, and now associated with T. A. Wright, Knoxville, Tenn.
