S. and Mary (Winter) RAINEY; educated at Columbia and Nashville, Tenn.; married Maggie FLEMING Feb. 6, 1889; been engaged in farming all of his life; holds interest in canning factory, also extensive turnpike interests; Democrat; member of Royal Arcanum; Presbyterian church.
