KING, William R., credit man; born Hempstead, Ark., Nov. 22, 1876; Scotch descent; son of Henry C. and Carrie I. (Arnold) KING; educated in the city schools of Texarkana, Ark., graduated in 1892; began his career as a clerk, and was connected with Wm. R. Moore Dry Goods Co., as clerk and cridit [sic] man thirteen years, he is also a director of the corporation; married Lucille HART, Nov. 16, 1904; member of Credit Men’s Assn., Merchants’ Assn. and Business Men’s Club, Memphis, Tenn.
